Foam Systems

In certain applications, to suppress fire, a foam sprinkler system would be installed. This option would be considered when water would not effectively suppress a fire. The sprinkler system is water based, and a foam agent is added to water upon activation.

Gas Systems – Novec, Inergen, FM-200, CO2

Depending on the space or equipment being protected an inert gas system may be designed for special hazard suppression. Gas systems are often used as suppressants where regular water based systems would be damaging to high value equipment such as IT rooms. Fire detection systems usually accompany a gas agent and control the releasing of the agent.
